Kurt Schmoke, who currently serves as Dean of Howard University School of Law, will be stepping down next month to take the position of Vice-President and General Counsel of the University. Schmoke has been Dean since 2003, previously served as the Mayor of Baltimore. He will be replaced on an interim basis by the school’s current associate dean, Okianer Christian Dark.
